having trouble taking head off on 97 kx125
« on: December 26, 2014, 01:00:02 PM »
Im changing the top end on my 97 kx125.  I have almost everything ready to go but cannot get the head off.  My problem comes in the power valve/kips area.  I have all the head bolts off but when i take the kips cover off i cannot figure out how to remove the cylinder head from there.  The clymer manual says after you take kips cover off there is a bolt to remove on a 97 but mine definitely does not have a bolt.  Wondering if anyone can guide me in the right direction?

There should be a 4 digit number on the side of your cylinder.
What is the number?
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.
