your pic isn't working....try this...

http://www.kxriders.com/forums/index.php/topic,10040.0.html

I've always found it easier to pull the motor to work on it....but you "shouldn't" have to, to pull the clutch cover off.
You might have to rotate the water pump impeller until the water pump drive gear aligns with the crank gear. This is where a service manual comes in handy
Excuse me, ma'am...but you've got extremely nice legs!!!...what time do they open???                                                                                                               https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8tCgN3aryQ

try "gently" tapping the cover off with a rubber mallet, but if you feel resistance, stop!, you'll need to figure out what's holding it from coming off.
I don't think there's many guys on here that have 60's, I've never opened one up, but can't see it being much different than a 125, 250, or 500.
maybe there's someone on here that has opened one up that'll chime in...if not, I strongly suggest finding a manual.

yeah pull those 6 bolts around the clutch pack....there's springs behind them that "could" be worn out beyond their limits...check the plates too...if you have to, bring the springs and plates to your Kawie dealer or a very well trusted friend and have them measured for service wear.

you never did mention the history of this bike....have you ever been able to ride it?...or was it like this when you got it?
