Pastrana racing an rm 500?

It'll be a nice side/non points even. And extra recording to add to the dvr that will keep me entertained. Nice to see something a little different format too. Can't imagine it will be too great but it involves dirt bikes so that's pretty cool I guess...

If anything I'd say it's probably a yellow kaw. But like you said, no clear pictures. Either that or Suzuki/red bull actually went far enough out of their way to make one and only one 500cc two stroke just for him to ride this one time and a couple practice sessions.

If he really wanted to be special we would have fit the LT500 motor in there. Maybe that's what it is :?

Looks like a CR500 motor, pretty sweet looking though I'm not an aluminum frame fan (too much feed-back off-road).  I can see why he'd used a 500 2str in a newer chassis for a rythm/whoop race.  Our '04 KX250/500SF conversion is to this day, the best bike I've ever ridden in the whoops.  There is no wrong gear, it just goes straight and stays on-top with next to no effort.

anyone that didn't get to watch this on t.v. back when it took place....it's on today at 4pm EST on regular NBC.

this is gonna be aired again this Saturday(12-27-14) at 9am EST on regular NBC, for those that missed it the other day.
I just happened to stumble onto it 15min before it aired the other day, so I doubt a lot of guys saw it that want to.
