When clean isn't clean enough...



Believe it or not, this was just out first clean pass.
I usually do it two to three times to get every last little gooey off...

An oldie but a goodie! Brings back the drag racing days. Had an early Edelbrock Tarantula and a Victor Jr. 4X4  (square single carb, not for a four wheel drive :-D) manifold. Ah yes, another deep black hole I have thrown money into...
Those parts look great. Guy at work had some carbs rebuilt last year in Cali and now I know how they cleaned them. The shine almost looks like someone spray painted them 'chrome' silver, but they are not painted.
