The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

nice work with fotoshop... :-D looks like the bike that kawasaki should sell in 2015...  :-D

but the myth can be reality... all we need is a good 250 and a big bored cylinder with 72mm piston...

I've been reading the "Two piece clutch cover" thread and I'm thinking Sandblaster could build this bike.

Anyone else interested in ordering one ?

*Myth*

*Reality*

You want a 300? Gotta build it off a '04-or-older engine (not enough meat in cylinder to build a reliable 300 on the "R" engines ('05-'07 US).

my old 97 kx360

the bike is gone, but i still have the motor  :-)

and last year in the 87 frame:

in action:

and the comparison of a96 bigbore 360 (78mm) and 03 stock 250 cylinder (66,4mm)
the 03 cylinder needs repair after pistonring damage, so i plan to make a 300 when i have time and little bit money to much..  :-)

300 vs 250

As for that 360, sounds cool, but that cylinder skirt looks really thin! Any issues with that?

yeah there is only a thin copper ring as head-gasket ..if it works better never touch it, after my time with the engine in the 87 frame and the added headstay came the water-problems with the head-gasket. but when the motor can run without any problems it is a very powerful ride ...handles like 250 and power nearly to a 500 with 51 hp on rear wheel ... when i find the time i clear the problems, because i love to ride this little beast...  :-D

I have found a company that does a 72 X 76 with a 92-07 motor. They want $2895 Aussie peso for it.

don't believe it for a minute, 05 and up have to much port overlap and when punched they get really tight, piston pin has to move and still don't work, I have a cylinder and head in my attic that was my attempt. My guy was an accomplished builder who had done hundreds to older cylinders and thought he could do it to the newer cylinders as well, the first one lasted 20 seconds the second made it 30 minutes of very easy riding and there wasn't a third thats why its in a box in the attic,
