Dirty 5 @Mungati.

With a heavy shower of rain on sunday morning, the long green grass was always gonna be be tricky. But droped a few pounds out of the rear tyre and we were away laughing! What a different track from last weekend. No rocks [well hardly any]. As the day rolled on the tracked dryed out real good. Speeds increased dramatically. Over the flat paddocks the dirty 5 was tapped right out in top. Cranking! 14/46 gearing. Felt like imperial ton. Maybe. Amazing enduro loops. About 8or9 short steep uphill climbs and 1 sharp down hill made up of say 20 drop offs. Momentum is critical for up hill work, but with a bog hole at the bottom and no room to run up, starting off on the 80 degree grassy slope 300metres long, was challenging. Heaps of guys looping and sliding all over the place untill the sun dryed things out. We did 7 laps of the 25km circut, doing all of the enduros on the way round. Riding with a mate who has just finished doing up a couple of old ITs.  a 250 and a 465. He was riding the 465 and also doing a top job, considering that he only could use half throttle due to slipping clutch. He can sure pilot that thing! I was working hard to insure he didnt get away. [post some pics] Great day had by all 300 riders.
