Went for a quick fang with a couple of the lads this morning. Out to the Orari River. 30 minutes from my house.

You have some of the best looking riding areas on the planet. I'm so jelous. If I had places like that around here, I'd be riding all the time. :-(

BTW, is that red bike on the right an XR250? I had a friend with that exact looking bike! Great bikes. Thanks for sharing the picture.

You always have great pic's! I still like the sand better, I don't know if I could handle my KX5 if I ever had any real traction!

Gabe thats a 1980 XR500a. Good bike drum brakes twin rear shocks all that old technology. Yet the owner/rider, The Gizzard , still can punt it along no probs. The other bike in the pic is a XR500R 1982 Pro link. With kdx 200 disk grafted on the front. Alan we have sand also miles of it. All different types soft, hard packed, thick and thin. You guys are welcome to come down and check it out any time! Cheers M rebal! Good thing about bikes compared to cars or other stuff is that things are relatively inexpensive. So its easy to get it looking OK. Gonna send that spare barrel to Mr Gorr for a bore out and port job soon. That should be it pretty much sorted. Hopefully.
