I was wondering if there is any aftermarket pressure releases for a 93 KX500. The older I get the harder it is to crank this monster at full pressure  :D

Nope, not that I'm aware of here in the states. But, you can decrease your compression by a thicker head gasket and it is a bit easier to start and/or adding a flywheel weight helps. Not recommended as I hate flywheel weights, but I also don't care for the low-mid range of the rpm.

Yup, flywheel weights will make your 500 start like a 250.

As most folks know on this site, I love my 14 oz. weight, and ride with it everywhere.  You do give up some top end power, but as we all get older, do we really need to be going over 90 mph anymore...

I personally dont think I have ever wanted to go 90 on a dirtbike and I'm only 28. By the time I'm 40 I probly wont wanna go over 30!
Rock it 'til the wheels fall off!

Heck, you need to hit 30 just to get the bikes out of the truck :)
