Was going to have the wife take a couple 'joke' pictures and write a 'satirical' write up but honeydoo's and weather got in the way.
Took the bike for a 10 mile 'checkout' ride then rode it to work. Fourth (top) gear saw 55 MPH, but I would say 45 would be top comfortable speed at steady cruise in stock trim. It kept up with traffic fine. After softening up the rear to closer match the softer front it rode pretty good. I bounced my 230 lbs hard on it and could not bottom it out.
Took it up this hill from a stop at the bottom and could 'almost' hold it in top gear (fourth) but could accelerate in third.
I will probably jump up a tooth in the front as first gear is really short. 55 MPH would be easier (I think) then, but it is only a 125c so it is a bit much to ask from it. Actually, it is a 120cc but it is called a 125cc. Not too often you hear about them rounding 'down' on any bike.
I have had more people stop and ask me about this bike then any I have had before. That says a lot after owning more then 80 different motorcycles including some 'oddballs'. Write up's I have seen say the Chinese built Honda clone engines die at fairly low miles but I will hold judgement as I have to wonder it they worked the crap out of the little 125 motor and or modified it first, which is pretty common.
This one shows 1250 miles but the Trail Tech style dash, speedo and clock only, no Tach, will reset to "0" if the main battery is disconnected and the installed battery is dead so who know's what the true milage is. So far it shifts fine, runs out good and appears to be completely stock which is one reason I bought it. I have looked at a few but passed as they had the crap beat out of them and showed it. This was adult owned and he had multiple bikes but since the intake valve clearance was '0' and there was multiple loose bolts (a common issue from the factory build) I would question his maintenance practices. The slide was hanging up in the carb bore so I polished the bore and that took care of that problem.
Other changes would be a 1/4 turn throttle and maybe a change to the seat foam as it slants foreword and I am constantly having to push my butt back on the seat. A review I saw on YouTube by a cute young girl was doing the same though she did not mention it in the review. Her butt looked much better scooting back then mine, I am certain.
Over all after owning it for the short time I have had it I like it. At 200 lbs it is no light weight, but it looks solid to me. I would buy it over again at this point.
