broken engine mounts

well just finished rebuilding top and bottom end of my 88 kx 500.  The next hurdle is coming up with durable engine mounts that last. i have contemplated making new ones out of steel or thicker aluminum stock or perhaps even double stacking oem style mounts.anyone have any experience? comments?extra mounts laying around that they want to get rid of? btw early and 89+ mounts are different

i restored an `88 (see my avatar)  and needed new engine mounts. I had a few sets of top and bottom brackets madee. pretty sure i heave a few left over. They are high grade alloy, i can mail some to you if you want.?
