« on: January 11, 2005, 01:29:31 PM »
Hey Guy's

My rebound adjusment screw doesn't click as I turn it in any direction. The rebound still seems to be working. Is their any static test I can perfrom to test the rebound :?:

Hughes,
Sometime they get some crud inside in the mechanism.  To free it up turn it very slowly from full CW to full CCW about 10 times or more. After some of this "exercise" you should start to feel the detent mechanism start giving you some "click" back and it will start to turn better.  Then go full CW and back it out the number of clicks to your setting. If unknown, start at 10 and adjust in 2 click increments (while riding) until you get in the ballpark. Cam.

Thanks Dude I'll try that this weekend. I am a amateur at riding any tips I can do while riding to test my re-bound :?: I could tell it was working with the shock off the bike by turning the screw and then pulling out the shock shaft without the spring installed(more or less resistence).
