Thanks

What model years are we talking?
It's hard to keep a drivers license riding a 2 stroke dirt bike on the street.  If you drive within the law they are VERY boring.

Don't know what you could bolt on but here is what the part numbers reveal:
45014-1662-45
1998 KX100-C1 KX100
1998 KX80-W1 KX80
1999 KX100-C2 KX100
1999 KX80-W2 KX80
********
45014-1662-8V
2000 KX100-C3 KX100
2000 KX80-W3 KX80
2001 KX100-D1 KX100
2001 KX85-A1 KX85
2002 KX100-D2 KX100
2002 KX85-A2 KX85
2003 KX100-D3 KX100
2003 KX85-A3 KX85
2004 KX100-D4 KX100
2004 KX85-A4 KX85
2005 KX100-D5 KX100
2005 KX85-A5 KX85
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

The short answer is maybe, you will have to compare them dimensionally to see, many times they change something small and change the part number or maybe the shaft size. There would be minimal doubt that the bearings are different, what I would look for is the length, the length of the exposed shaft and make sure you have clearance on the frame  if the body is different. I've used different shocks on different bikes alot, in many cases my valving was off but yours should be close.
