1992 KX 125 missing parts
« on: January 12, 2014, 05:35:10 AM »
What is missing here? It's on the right side and next to the power valve usually behind the exhaust. i know it goes to a gear inside the case and i remember reading that it was a governor or something like that a long time ago. Thanks!

It's the power valve actuator arm that is missing. That would make it run way better if you had it. Sandblaster may have one in his pile o parts. Send him a pm or post in the wanted section. I'm sure someone will have one laying around.
It's hard to keep a drivers license riding a 2 stroke dirt bike on the street.  If you drive within the law they are VERY boring.

The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

I would see if I could get one from a slightly newer year say 93-94 as the basic design is the same.
