You never know how things will work out untill you try.And I hope it works out for you,I was a Honda tech (cars) and at first it was a great job.But after I was married a few years it became tuff because of buying a house ect. and you where paid flat rate so you never knew how much your pay check would be (real bad in the slow times of the year, and your wife wants to know if your going to just make ends meet or be ahead),you were also spending alot on new tools, and constantly going to school to keep up with the new cars and we got screwed on warranty work a lot.I have to admit it has its good and bad points, but I needed a consistant pay check, but my friend does quiet well as a Toyota tech.Part of the problem was when we got a new owner at the dealer ship he was killing the buisness.I would talk to some of the techs and see what they have to say about there career choice, find out if you get bennifits,401k,flat rate or hourly wage and the pay scale,if it slows down alot and are there many lay off's?Your young and you may like it and do well, but think of your future, can this be a job you can raise a family on and stay at for the rest of your career? If your willing to relocate you can follow the money,I wasnt willing to move so I had to give it up as the dealer I woked for was a poorly run shop.Good luck.
