KX125 PWK swap help needed
« on: December 16, 2013, 12:38:41 AM »
I have a new carb and if anyone is familiar with this, What cable is used. The carb I have is new and does not have the top that the KXs use where it has a tube that connect to the cable with a clip. The OEM cap can't even be bought anymore. It's discontinued even through Keihin.
A few said the 01 CR250 cable might work but trying to get more input before I blow $30 on a cable.

Some pics would help as well as the numbers off the side of the carb.
Any idea of the year of the carb?
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

Sorry, I wasn't very descriptive. The carb is a brand new PWK 38AS. But problem is fixed. A member is hooking me up with the correct cap to use with the stock cable.

BTW, I'll report back with a new thread on the performance of this on a KX and all the details.
