KX500 Question
« on: December 14, 2013, 03:34:53 AM »
So I got my new KX500 Project bike fired up....It was Ideling fine, then, made kind of a farting noise out the pipe and stopped running.

So.   I've got Gas, I've got spark and I've got compression out the wazoo.....Oh yes, and I've got a brand new carb on it from a KX250.

After it stopped, I noticed the plug was only finger tight.   So I tightened it up, had even MORE compression and havent been able to get it refired.

Any suggestions?

How well does it kick through without the plug?  Have you tried a new plug? How are the reeds?  Was the plug wet?

Bike looks sweet man,  Welcome!!!!!
