If it was the gunmetal gray color they painted them is own it already.

Trying to talk myself into blue. (Which is better than black and red)

now you sound like me....my 01 was white, didn't really care for it...now my 07 is white too :x....I wanted the dark green.
the blue isn't bad...there's a ton of them runnin around here...looks like it could use a 2 1/2" leveling kit up front, and tinted windows would enhance the look too.
Excuse me, ma'am...but you've got extremely nice legs!!!...what time do they open???                                                                                                               https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8tCgN3aryQ

Ran some numbers.
I can finance it for 1.89% 72 month
So if I get it for 29000.
With taxes   and a 1500 down payment
Monthly payment would be 438.35

Hmmm

If you think you can swing it, I'd say go for it...you know just as well as I do, that finding an LBZ that clean with that little miles is getting harder and harder to find.
The only thing I would want to know, is why it's being sold with so little miles...was it a bank repo?, a lease that ran it's course?, did the previous owner just want something different?, or some unknown issue not mentioned?

you see quite a few around here like that.   Most are some guys dream truck he buys.   and hardly ever drives (old guy) that lives in a garage.   or some guy my age, that was dreaming and then couldnt afford the payments.   Or some Sailor with the same thing.

This one doesnt have black out rims, or a lift, etc.     so its bone stock  tells me its the old guy thing.

I ran a car fax on it.   it wasnt a lease .    those are pretty good about telling you that.   and it was a one owner vehicle.

It did fail a smog if you look at the car fax.   that could have been exhaust, or a egr delete......   the smog guys here in cali are so jumpy now a days. they tryed to fail my uncles 2002 duramax for not having a cat.    took him 2 hours to convince them it never did.

hmmm, I didn't see the CARFAX tab the 1st few times...after looking at it, sounds like it's time to call em up, and tell them to get the paper work started....unless you just can't accept the blue color. :?

Yep... All true..
So, why encourage you to drop a huge coin?
1. I like the truck, including the color.
2. I built my first house 30 years ago. That same house today would probably cost several times that.
3. A old truck fixed up is really cool.... Not having to wrench on one is even cooler..

I couldnt do it, 30k, the investment vs the reward. Why do you think the populous had to bail out the auto industry. Minimum wage = guess ? 17500 a year. New ride = 3 times that for std diesel truck. Realistically, Axles $2500, nice body $5000 slip over the border $2000?, awesome motor $15000, what you gonna do? TBI 350 starts to look sweet at $3000. Do you really have to pull the hills at 85mph. Consumer based economy & biased to the "loan" system. Mike is right cheap wheels are the better deal. Dave Ramsey is a good read in the own your ride aspect. Really Id give you a good dmax cause the injection & turbo s**t is so expensive, sucks but the waste is omnipresent here.

I read his stuff.  And I'm actually following most of it
1. It's over 4 years old (7to be exact) so it's done it's initial depritiation in value

2. Its much less than half our yearly household income. (Less than half of just the wife's income alone) even if I didn't count

3. 1.89% finance.  That's like d**n near free money.  (Not like my buddy's car loans. One is 9.5% other is at 12%). Dumb bastards

4 . I will probably with my past history own this thing for the next 20yrs. I find things I like and keep hold

5 but god d**n that's allot of money

The main reason I want it isn't for me. To be some as s hat in a diesel truck

But to take family on vacations. Take my kids out to ride every weekend. Teaching them to ride. Going to the snow.  The sierras and Colorado and Utah     it will not be a daily driver.  I have other vehicles for that.      Oh and I own all my other vehicles outright.

But d**n that's a lot of money

Pay extra on your home loan is all I can manage, still stuck on the 1 month savings. I saw what you were driving & it is smart choices . Tried to sell my kids on the buick 3.8   :? kids think your dumb though. Lotta cash for sure but if the life adventure gain is immortal  drag that baby home.
