v8 2 stroke sand rail
« on: September 26, 2013, 08:41:13 PM »
have a look at the utube sight for a "v8 2 stroke sand rail" it will show it at the dunes and also on the dyno.
OK,,,,, had a look?
does anyone have any technical info on this transplant, or one like it. from all the web forums i've visited all i can find is " thats my buddies car ,it screams dude!". i cant find anything of interest at all. i would like to know what crankshaft flange/flywheel/clutch setup was used. and any issues arising from the conversion.
I've been looking for a use for a 130hp yamaha v4 2 stroke and i have a manx clone dune buggy in need of a resto parked next to it.
obviously a win win situation all round.
I'm 2/3rds the way there already.
all this and road registered....unbelievable..

now if i can just geta little info.

If you go to 3:30 you can skip to the dyno results.
Sounds like a cool project.
Pics?
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.
