Swing arm pivot pin removal. Stinkin thing is stuck!!!

In the past I seen had other members complain about getting swing arm pivot pins out.
Some have even commented that they have tried to use a Saws All to remove them but couldn't because of the hardened inserts.
I have tried to use a Saws All a few times with no success either.
Yesterday I had a break through...

I used the carbide grit blade before in a sawzall, it worked but keeping the blade slow and cool was the trick.  Actually had better luck cutting by hand with a hack saw and a grit blade on it.  The next time I think I will spend the extra cash and get the diamond grit blade to see how it works.  If you have acetylene handy it works MUCH better than propane for heating.

You can try the diamond one if you want but it does not work very well.
I just tried it today but haven't updated my article yet.
The Stainless steel with the carbide strip works the best.
And you can cut through at least two times with one blade, perhaps more, just use the water trick and your good to go.
It only takes a few minutes to cut through
