Kawasaki Green Paint Comparison
« on: April 12, 2012, 06:43:27 AM »
I needed some Kawi green for my bike so I bought a couple different colors and thought I would post the results. Both of these are rattle can and laid down nicely. I used Rustoleum Grabber Green and Duplicolor Grabber Green. Both can be found at most auto parts stores.

I have been and will be a fan of the duplicolor products as they lay down really nice, better than most spray paints. The case was the same here. The rustoleum lays down plenty nice and is very very useable but the dulpicolor products have always went on better with a better end product.

With that being said the Rustoleum was closer in color to the Kawasaki Lime Green. The Dupilcolor is darker with less yellow. So I used the Rustoleum.

RO = Rustoleum   DC = Duplicolor

As you can see in the photos both colors are a little darker. The finsihed results were good and close but not dead one.

The dupli-color looks a little more like grabber green to me.

I was Actually doing the same thing with my bike,
but the auto stores around me had one brand. VHT, Engine Enamel,

i thought it was pretty close as well, but still enough of a difference.
but its lays down a very nice smooth layer, with a good finish. over all im happy with the VHT.
but wouldve liked to compare a few different brands.
 just my 2 cents
