New to the dirt bike world
« on: May 07, 2013, 02:19:47 AM »
My neighbor got me hooked on trail riding last summer. He recently came across a early 80's KDX 175 that needed a home and the owner only wants $100 for the bike. After we got it turn over and run I was amazed at how well it runs and drives. It needs work, but it runs and will make a nice beginner bike for me, and in a few years my son will be able to ride it.

Where can I find parts for this bike? I need a new air filter, front brake, possibly a clutch, gas cap with vent tube, just to name a few.

Glad to be here and hope to learn a lot.

Glad to hear another person coming into the dirt bike world! Especially on a Kawasaki for his first bike  www.bikebandit.com or kawasakipartshouse online might have them. Hope you get everything you need, and post some pics of the bike! I wanna see a vintage trail bike.
Pin it to win it!

Welcome to the site!
Another good source for new parts is http://www.partzilla.com/
Their service is really good and you'll find their prices hard to beat.
For used parts check out ePay

Post some pics of your bike and riding areas..
