Looks like it needs a serious clean up. But nice overall. Looks like my R1. ;-)

Nice bike overall, check the top exhaust mount for breaks ect. ect. Main weak points.

Hmmm here in cali you dont have a title  there is no need to buy the bike. Also It seems you could find something newer for that amount  Like Destry Abbotts http://www.pitbull-racing.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=1148

Beware! That bike looks hammered.  I know I got suckered into a shiny on the outside KX500.  Took me a few years and lots of money replacing a lot of small parts here and there.  Good luck.

Destry's bikes are by FAR the best deals on race ready KX500s.  Unfortunately, he sold his last one already.

That's pretty high for such an old bike.  Also, if your state requires a title for this type bike, but the owner has lost the title, he can file a lost title request for $8.  Two week later, the owner has a title for the bike.  If the seller is unwilling to do this, the bike is stolen.  So, no title, no money.

By the way, if you purchase a hot bike, and the police take the bike from you, you will never recover your money.
