Hi Guys,

New on this Site, enjoy reading the threads ......

Time to post a pic of my 41 hr's only '04 KX500 .

I've owned the bike since new , V-force reed kit, FMF exit system front to back, Moose bars and frame protectors etc , but pretty much keeping it as original as I can because they're an extinct species now .

Hope you like

That bike looks like it came off the showroom floor.......welcome to the site.
I once heard my buddy Bill ask Danny Hamel after a race....
"How can someone who looks like a high school band tuba player go so d**n fast on a bike?!"

Thanks for the nice feedback Guys,

One of the reasons it looks so 'new' is I noticed how the Tank decals started bubbling as soon as it even finished the first ride, new Bike, in '04. Took the tank in to a local screen-printer ( Automotive) and he replicated the decals and the colours in A-Grade vinyl and covered them with a clear laminate. They'll last for ever and are'nt bothered by the fumes breathing out of the low density plastic tank. Cost ? $45.00

Looking at them, you would'nt know the difference from a new one.

Likewise the radiator shroud decals which are original but laminated with clear as well.

Cosmetics do make a difference for sure ....

The Dinasours ain't dead yet ,

 :-)
