Fork Oil
«

I will be rebuilding my forks next week on my 87 KX500(for now just seals and cleaning). Manual says I used use 5wt. oil. Any benefit to using a heavier wt. oil 7wt. or 10wt. ? I would like to add new heavier springs later. Can heavier oil have some of the same effects as heavier springs have? Thanks Guys.

Oil is more of a fine tuning as well as height.Try 7wt.
