Carbon fiber!
« on: February 21, 2005, 03:04:22 PM »
FYI;

I thought I saw some one here one time looking for a "Carbon Fiber"
Pipe guard????

E-Line Carbon Fiber 2-Stroke Pipe Guard
Carbon fiber reinforced with Kevlar
Much stronger and lighter than aluminum
Exact fit to specific pipes
Exceptional workmanship
Guard includes stainless clamps
Note:If pipe is FMF, please include FMF part # in notes section at checkout

The two stroke guards use two stainless steel clamps that wrap around the pipe. The exhaust pipe does not have to be removed for guard installation.

E Line uses a composite of carbon fiber, Kevlar, fiberglass, and high temperature resins in custom molding pipe guards. This combination of materials distributes any impact over a large area to reduce the pipe damage. The lightweight composite has 75% greater tensile strength than aluminum. Aluminum guards or thick wall pipes will not distribute impacts as well and weight more than E Line?s composite material.

The guards weigh between 9 ? 20 ounces depending on the model. Light enough so that factory motocross teams including Team Honda and Factory Connection use E Line Moto Pipe Guards. Team Yamaha Offroad, and Team KTM Offroad use E Line Full Coverage Pipe Guards.

Scratches are better than dents :-D
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day!
Build a man a fire, and he will be warm for a night , Light a man on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life!
