Email I sent to the BLM today! It's starting to happen here in Nevada which is a shame! This state is still 80% open range and federally owned! There is no reason to shut down riding areas here! None at all! Pricks! It's politics and bulls**t!
To whom it may concern at the BLM:
What you are proposing publically is vague and unclear. I believe this may be intentional and possible deception. I can only conclude that no matter what alternative is chosen it is intended to once again shut down more OHV riding areas because that is what has historically happened. I'm against any revision chosen by the BLM that will further restrict my OHV freedoms and use of my public lands.
It appears that if you have money or are a politician you can do what ever you want to the desert such as the new Clark County Shooting Range or the never ending urban sprawl and development even in these tough economic times!
Closing down already established riding areas will accomplish nothing other than forcing off roaders into other areas of the desert that would otherwise remain pristine. Leave all present OHV riding areas as is or open up more land not less!
