Rear Shock Spring
« on: October 13, 2004, 12:52:33 PM »
Need to replace lower shock bearing. That's easy. But while I have the rear shock out of the frame I would like to repaint the spring. Are there any cautions for removing the spring? How do I remove it? I have an service manual but it refers any rear shock service be performed by the dealer.  Thanks

I think I address this on my shock rebuilding post on this site.  Just search the site and you should be able to locate.  If not, let us know and someone will find.
