I would check to make sure you have a strong spark and change your plug while your at it. Its cheap, easy and it will rule that out. I like to run a BR8EIX gapped at 24 thou.When its really cold or its been sitting a while i turn the gas and choke on, then put it in 2nd gear and rock it a few times. I give it about 1/4 throttle, make sure its at tdc and then slam it home. It rarely takes more than 2 or 3 kicks. I would check your compression just to be safe. Stock is 105psi to 165psi (i think). Not sure if the 540 kit would change that?? Best of luck to ya!
