KX500 sfc 2001
« on: December 26, 2012, 09:59:50 AM »

Kawasaki dealer in Iceland converted this bike in 2001 and it was used two seasons in motocross racing. Then it was again converted into enduro bike.
I was thinking if anyone could tell me what pipe is best to use when i change it ?

I am building the same bike at the moment and was very surprised at how well the fmf gnarlry pipe ( for the 500 af's) fit.
Also noticed in your photo the fuel tank on your bike.Looks like it's an ims oversize tank?
could you post another photo please!
I am just about to deal with the fuel tank and I am wondering what the fit is like with the 500 cylinder compared to the 250 on theses tanks.

Very nice.
What kind of riding will you be doing?
MX, Ice, Enduro, Woods, Sand?
We want to see pics of your riding area if you have any.
Thanks for posting!

Planning on building the bike into a street legal super moto. Ordering my wheels the end of this week. Just mocking up the build at the moment. Building the 86-88 engine.
I have a kx 250 in the L series frame as well for the dirt.
I'm really happy my girlfriend lets me keep the bike in the spare room for now.

Don't put your girlfriend outside,,,,who will cook,,,, but then don't put that beautiful bike out. You'll figure it out. Nice pipe. If your choice in pipes is a reflection of your taste in women you have a tough decision.

Still trying to figure out which type of silencer I am going to use.
I am not sure what is going to happen when I get the bike in for an inspection before it goes for a plate.
