Jetting for Glamis

I am in the process of rebuilding a newly acquired 95 KX500. I should have it ready for Halloween at Glamis. Any jetting suggestions. Currently the bike has a 168 main with a N82R needle, clip on the top groove.

Larry,
With a 58 pilot your jetting should be pretty close although I think many go up to a 170 main for sand to stay a bit rich for all the wide open stuff.  Guys like Rick (who goes to Glamis) will know for sure. Me, I've never even seen a sand dune so not exactly an expert(armchir only). Cam.

I missed one thing.  I am assuming my '92 is the same as your'95 and it lists the N82R as a 3 steps leaner needle. Stock is N82M.  I have an old ProCircuit listing which they used the N82R at 2nd clip.  Just might want to be careful about being too lean in the sand. Again remember the armchair thing. Cam.

I run a 58, stock needle on middle clip setting and a 172 main. C12 @ 50:1 and enjoy
