Funny how nobody is willing to pay more than $1500 for a clean complete KX500.........but you find KX500 motors going for over $2000 on ebay all day for all these AF projects......hahahaha.

I once heard my buddy Bill ask Danny Hamel after a race....
"How can someone who looks like a high school band tuba player go so d**n fast on a bike?!"

I'd rather buy a blown motor for a few hundred and rebuild it myself, and know what I've got afterwards, rather than spend $2000+ on one that Joe Blow says is "All rebuilt and ready to go!!"
Just a gamble I would'nt wanna take.
Excuse me, ma'am...but you've got extremely nice legs!!!...what time do they open???                                                                                                               https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8tCgN3aryQ

You wouldn't believe how many bikes I buy that are suppose to be all gone through only to find out they are worth more in scrap value then in good parts...
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

My #1 RED flag that goes up on craigslist is when the seller states "brand new top end, not even broken in yet".  This in reality means "I blew the top end, and am too cheap to fix the trashed cylinder, so I just replaced the rings and it's now for sale"
