I have welded washers to stuff like that before to pull it.

Also just placing 2 or 3 small welds on the bearing race itself will shrink if enough that it will fall out. TIG would be the preferred method.

 K,
I have had to cut through the Bushing/bearings and such to the point where you can either relieve enough pressure to tap it out or end up making two cuts 180 deg apart. (cut in half) and  punch or chisel the stuff apart.
   Dremmel, Hacksaw Blade Etc.
I know it may be slow going working around the aluminum... :|

If you have access to an arc welder the easiest method is to run a bead of weld on the inside of the race.  When it cools it shrinks the race a few thou and the race drops out. Also sometimes you can use the edge of a bolt head and fab up jury rigged puller. Can you not tap it out from the other side of the wheel with a long punch?? Cam.

A long punch from the other side should be the easiest. Another try could be with a slide hammer that has a hook end.

I have run into this many times when working on my vehicles, but not on my bikes yet. When I do encounter it, I stuff a rag into the hole to prevent debris from entering it while I'm working and I take my dremel tool to it with a cut-off wheel. I don't cut all the way through, but very close. Two or three cuts and some tapping with a chisel and they normally come out. Just be cautious so you don?t damage the housing the race is in.
 Good luck.
