New dutch-guy intro.
« on: July 28, 2012, 07:19:24 PM »
hallo !! my name is frank from the netherlands. (excuses for bad language)
i was searching for some kx tech-info on the net and found this forum. !! GREAT !!
I first rebuilded a 1989 yz250 with ohlins-(noleen)360cc kit many years ago..
I just finished my 1999 kx250 rebuild and became a kawa_freak.
Sow, now i've just started to build a street legal kx540AF supermoto.
So I collected a load of wrecked engineparts and started to modify... This project will take a while I think, but I hope you'll like the project and hope to share some experiences with you, people...

hallo daar,

Only for the rest it's prefurd to speak englisch so the rest can enjoy with us. And for the "bad langauge" they don't mind here.
Your 250 looks reall good! I would like to licence/ plate my 500af when I have the time.

Groet Peter :-D

Thanx for the great reactions, guys !! its a pleasure to be on this forum !! I soon start posting stuff about the K-5 SM-project.... i'm still collecting parts together for bottom-end...I started project by just buying 2 empty '92 crank-cases.....where would we be without ebay...
Surely nice to reed reactions in dutch, peter !! zo is de wereld ineens weer een stuk kleiner..haha !! I think riding the streets on K-5 SM is F**king great, but get him a plate is a real issue...I skip the overall-RDW-exam, wanna try it another way.....
I would say; make some time for your licence, dutch-streets ask for blue smoke..!! haha !!
Greetz..Frank
