I talked with Christini about a AFK5.  They said they could do it.  Only thing is they have to modify the tank so much you lose some range.  It would be better to put it in a 08 or newer KTM 450ish chassis.  So a KTM K5 Chrisitini!!!????  Might have to dust off my e-start plans and get to work!!!

I've had the same bike bouncing around in my head. Found a KTM 520 roller,,, found out it is the old chassis. Need the newer frame.

What I like on the Christini 300 is the e-start option,,6 speed,,, off the rack pretty sweet bikes.

Hows the Gas Gas for getting part's?

I've actually never had to purchase genuine Gas Gas parts for mine. The Ohlin's forks take the same seals as my KX500, the rest of the chassis was basically a rip-off of a 90's perimeter frame KX250. Brake parts, etc all had a japanese cross reference. The engine parts I've needed were able to use Suzuki.

Things might be different now, but on my old 2002, it's almost like a frankenbike taking parts from a bunch of other bikes.

frankenbike  :-D Thats great , my wife give's me crap about my Frankenstein creations.

I'm amazed at the price of the Christini, they must have a dang good "in" with Gas Gas considering just the bike retails around $7800

Quite interesting how they've transfered the power

They even offer a frame kit, there you go AF550 Christini would be pretty slick
if I only had a pair, I could actually ride this thing
