I will bite as I have no idea what a 'red sticker' is. Limited on the months you can ride in a state that is sunny most of the time?! Sounds criminal!

Just read in the AMA rag that Glamis is opening back up? Should give you Cali guys somewhere else to go. 40,000 acres of sand...

well.. lets figure this comming week (thanksgiving.)

I will be nice and generous.... and say motorhome gets 10mpg (we know it doesnt)

298 miles round trip to dunes...   Roughly $4.10 a gal for mid grade (Healthy built 454 wont run regular)..  so

$122.8 in fuel to get there and back.

Will bring roughly 25gal of Premium (about $4.20 a gal)   so thats $105

10Gal of race fuel (100LL) to mix in.   at about $6.75 a gal    $67

Dunes Permit (yes have to pay to park)    $35 for weekend...

Motul 800.   $20 a quart... 2 quarts.    $40..

so thats at
$370    Not counting food, oil, tires, beer, Registrations, etc etc etc..     for one week..............
D**m thats got to be a $700 weekend after beer and food. beer goes away fast out there... not sure way =]
Im extremely lucky i live in pahrump, NV im about 45 minutes from vegas an 45 mins from dumont, as well as i can leave my garage and in 10 minutes of riding im up in the mountains or in 10 minutes im out riding the old Spanish trail and some nice open desert riding. so come winter time ive got all the riding i need and come summer when it's 100 out i can cruise up the mountain and be in 70deg weather all day. anyone else live where you can ride all year long in perfect weather?
The 2-smoke runs deep in this one...
