Vet MX of Nations (vid)
« on: September 30, 2012, 02:16:15 AM »
Anyone see this?  If not, check out Ryan Hughes, Jeff Ward and Ron Lechien riding immeculately prepped KX500's just a few weeks ago in England.  Video is a little hard to follow but Hughes was the man of the day (#12 on the KX, and also on a late 70's CR250).

Even longer than Wardys legs!!....poor bastard looks like he's standing on his toes in the group pic.
He certainly knows how to get that thing around a track even today...once his feet are on the pegs.

Glad you guys liked it.  Apparently in the first race, the shift lever on Ronnie's bike worked loose and he was stuck in 1st gear.  He was trying to stay in the race, just wringing the bike out and then the rod snapped.  He went down pretty hard and that was the end of his weekend.   :-o
