The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

I just spoke with Larry & will be sending him my adjustable pull rods / dog bones. He has the means to make these, but also noted the adjustable feature would add a few dollars to the overall cost, but can make them non adjustable if needed.
If you would like a set of these (& are commited to buy as Motorrad stated) post saying so (& if more then 1 set as Supercub has) to let Larry know for pricing.

Adjustable is what I REALLY want. That way if I don't like the way the shorter rod handles.  I can adjust it back to stock, and still have a blingy part on the bike    And would love Larry to do the work.

I'm willing to pay for adjustables, although I would also pay right now for a fixed 132.5mm set. Can you imagine the amount of research that Team Green did to test these? if you want better handling in tight areas, the 132.5mm length has a proven track record that I have no doubt will improve handling. Every picture of a Team Green KX500 that I look at has the Pro Circuit dog bones. They were probably foregone or stripped on the practice bike I bought.

My next sought after mod after these dog bones, is a Team Green modified silencer (oem silencer shortened by 3-inches and a welded sparky at the end). My FMF is a POS in my opinion. Seems so restrictive an quality compared to oem is ridiculous. Leaks well before the packing needs to be changed and this is with a motor that was correctly jetted on a dynomometer.

Pull Rods should be in Larrys possesion now..........just need to give him a little time to do all of the measuring and CAD design work and should be able to give us a cost estimate in the near future...........be patient, his work is worth it. :-D
