Pro Circuit Dogbones

Hi guys,

I am looking at making some shorter dog bones like the Pro Circuit ones you used to be able to buy.  It is to suit a 1990 KX 500.  Anybody know how much shorter they were?  Standard is about 134mm between centres.  I have watched ebay in Australia for awhile but haven't seen any. 
Hopefully someone will know????

The Pro Circuit pull rods/dog bones that Team Green used on the KX500 were 132.5mm. I think Pro Circuit would list the same part number from 89-04, but I would check on that.

If anyone comes across these, or wants to make these, I would be interested. Haven't found a pair in years.

It would raise the seat height

Stock Rods at 134mm the Pro Circuit rods are 132.5

Obviously JFAB is quite busy, but I have spoken with Larry about these a few years back.....If there is enough interest I will send him the Rods to "R & D"  :-D

They make a HUGE difference to me on all of the KX's I have had them on. The front end Bites alot more.

So... is anyone SERIOUSLY interested in having emig make us a set?

I have a set of emigs links on my KTM... and they are IMPRESSIVE quality.. his machine work is best I have seen..

Id guess...they would be between 80-100 $$ a set...  

Im interested... and if anyone else is.. and wants to put CASH IN HAND.   Ill order a big batch of em...   should get cost down the more we do...






Hmm. wonder if he can make them say "Motorrad Racing" instead of emig......

He also told me the first thing they did (besides links) was slap on 23.5mm offset triples

The 24mm I run  off the 08 kx450 made a huge difference (but alot of that could be the modern suspension also)

I know that my bike and most of the later Ex Team Green KX500s set up for the desert were using a BRP bottom triple (haven't looked into the offset) and a stock upper. Some had BRP uppers as well, but I bet if you checked you are right about complementing the improvement with offset triples.
