Fresh seals, ceramic crank bearings

balanced and trued crank, fresh Kawi rod

Larry modded head

rewound ignition

trans installed

crank installed

complete engine

the b-side

candy apple green powder

Forks mounted

Ive been working on getting a few bugs ironed out, it currently has a longer swingarm, and a longer airfilter mounted up. soon to get a few more mods.

Just out of curiosity, what ceramic bearings did you use?
I'd love to see the looks on peoples faces as the tri rigger blows past them  :-D
The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

Wow that engine is a SNUG fit ! Especially the spark plug ! Who fabbed that pipe ? Thats a NICE job ! No problems with kick lever clearence ? I almost took on a Tecate 500 project before my kart, but finding clean Tecates for sale here in New England is tough. All the ones I looked at were clapped out POS

the bearings are from world wide bearings, hybrid, steel races with ceramic balls. Its been fun, but its still not up to snuff for me to say its done.

Yeah its a little overkill for sure, but its not as crazy as you might think.

The frame has to be notched for the spark plug to fit, the kicker hits the fender, CPI built the pipe, and most 30yr old 3wheelers are junk, this one was no exception

tecates came with a twist, I personally don't like 'em. that one is off a quadzilla.

Thanks for your nice words I appreciate it!

Great job! You have to post some videos of that on the dunes. Bet it's a blast to ride.

I can say  i've swung my leg over a few modded out tri wheeled death machines along the way. But not one of that caliber...I am a bike guy through and through
but i will say that machine is beautiful. Not to mention quite dangerous in the wrong hands.
Nice job

I worked for a Kawasaki dealer  years ago, and the owner raced Tecates' on the dirt oval at Loudon NH back in 84 and 85. He raced the "200cc" class, and what he did was yank the 250cc engine and was putting in 84 KX125 engines. Anyone who remembers the BRUTAL power of the '84 KX125 would attest to that combo kicking the crap out of any other 3 wheeler in the class. Racers were purchasing a brand new Tecate, a brand new KX125 and Gary (the owner/racer) would build the race ready package. He built like 4 of those 125cc Tecate's >
