KX250 flywheel / ignition, is it better?
« on: July 11, 2012, 09:25:36 AM »
Hi all

I am building a KX500AF with a KX250F 2009 and a KX500B 1986 Engine, I am trying to find out if using a KX250 flywheel, stator, cdi etc will make a good difference to the power delivery? Also which years of KX250 ignition are the best ones for the 500??

Many thanks

I've got an 88 K5 and am running an 87 KX250 CDI on the OEM K5 stator with the K5 OEM flywheel and for an 88 it revs out really well and got plenty of balls........ i've had no complaints at all about my set up
