i have an 86 KX 500, its in good origianl cond , but,,,,,,
i cant get on it without getting it by a step, and then crawling over the too high seat.
My way is to get a couple of older KX,s
Ive looked up and down, and i keep coming back to the KX dirt bike's,
seems like nothing else look's or run's like a KX,people were saying that you didntr see too many KX's out riding much even in mid 70's when they were getting going.
I dont believe that thing were there were not too many part's in the supply in the mid 70's,
or the thing that Kawasaki only gave dealers a two or three MXbikes.
since i couldnt get on this 86 without a step?
i was thinking about both a 74 KX 450, and a same yr KX 250
Ive seen the pics in japan of the mid 70's KX 250's with no tank stripe but all ive seen over here is ones with met paint and the stripe on tank,
the plain cream green tank with no stripe look's cleaner to me and not trendy like the enduro's,
on the KX 450's is it the porting and pipe that made that thing have such a deep exhaust note??
