KX450F/K5 Conversion
« on: October 24, 2014, 08:45:11 AM »
I have done one, and they are one of THE most difficult conversions.   The Radiators dont fit, you have to cut out the section of the downtubes and custom fab a new Y; the Airbox has no good replacement you can use, so custom fab an airboot adapter, and the head stay needs custom fab to attach (correctly) the head stay bracket.   BUt here is the result...well if I can get my images to post!!!!

If you can't figure out how to post pics, send them to oem-cycle@comcast.net and I'll post them.

The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.
