It kills me when watching motocross and they talk about the powerful 450s. They talk about them like they are Open bikes.

I think any one who missed the days when they had the open class would want it back if they knew how awesome it was. Before Yamaha got the ball rolling to kill the big bike class,it was THE class to watch, the best of the best, the fastest of the fast.My friends dont have any interest in riding my 500 (the ones that admit it are scared of it),and the one guy that did compared it to "a Army tank with a rocket engine".I hate to see Kawasaki kill the last 500 prouduced, but to give them credit there the only manufacturer to keep the 500 around, and that says a lot about the original desighn!

Just wanted to stop by and say hi. I finally saw a press release with the new date for the 450s. It looks like 450 won't be built until the 2006 models come out. The only bad thing about this is that they aren't going to be making any more 500's :( I know Kawasaki is looking at getting us more (04) 500's to race next year until the 450's come out. When the 450's do come out, I'm sure you open riders will like it. Hope to see you guys out on the trails or at the races. Good Luck!

Best Wishes,
Destry

I'm with Hundy.  I sure do love my 500 and will never get rid of it.  I've got a few Husaberg four strokes that I love but that RMZ450 sure is pretty.  And I hear it's loaded with power.  That would look even better with Kawasaki green on it.

Hey Destry..  Still running that school out in AZ ??  I think I might need a lesson on how to tame these wild beasts.

I've actually been doing a lot of schools out here. I'm also planning on doing some schools out of state, so hopefully I'll see you there. Good Luck!

I also had done some reading on there site and everyone agrees that the 620 is the best!
