At 42 yrs. old, after playing college football, still wakeboarding and teaching snowboarding on top of a life of dirtbikes that included two knee surgeries; I swear by Glucosamine (also 1500mg/day) with Condroiton and MSM. Helps stay off fatigue and pain in the finger joints during long rides on the big K5!

Alan,
This may be a dumb question but have you tried Glucosamine and MSM yet?  Does wonders for most people.  It works magic for my worn out knees!!  No more hobbling, limping and no constant pain.  I've been taking it for about 15 years.  For some it can take a few month to notice the benefits, for me it is about 3 days. Super cheap at Costco.  I started taking the MSM about 4 years ago and noticed another significant improvement on top of the Glucosamine.  I take 1500 MG of each a day.  Sorry to sound like a preacher but it was life changing for me to be able to kneel on the floor and play with the kids. Cam.

YEP, I have been taking Glucosamine for years , The stuff is great! It has done wonders for my knees!

I've also had good results with the glucosamine/condroitin/msm combo.  I recently added a product call Zyflamend and have had good results so far.
